Default 1st Gen Grill options? NONE? Well I went Chrome...

I couldn't find what I wanted (gloss blacked out grill with no L logo) so I went with tradition chromed out V.I.P. style grill, I am happy with the results, what do you all think? I needed something other then stock and it works for me.

The chrome has to stop here for me! I think the chrome A-Pillars and door hands are just to much, but look good on some other peeps cars the way they are set up...

Looks good and I agree with you the chrome pillars are to much, How much was the grill and was it easy to install?

Easy fix, have the new grill powdercoated gloss black, then you have what you wanted to begin with.

There are no crooked slats on this grill, here is a close up. The L is not removable or else I would have removed it, it will leave the hole where the L mounts in the middle of the grill. This is a kit of slats that overlay your original grill, they fit perfect onto the grooves of your original grill so there is no way to install crooked unless Lexus produced my OEM grill crooked (not likely). This is a good look for me right now, a cheap DIY upgrade and I will rock it until I find something I like better that is available.

and yeah Uncle_el your grill is mad clean, props

I love your chromed grille. It gives the car a very nice and stately look. Reminds me of my old Cressida.

Thanks man, It's really growing on me too and also I am spending some coin on my wings west flush mounted deck lid spoiler right now on paint and install so I am cool on this DIY upgrade for now. I just got the car and in about 6 months got it looking like I do now so I gotta keep budget in mind. I am very happy with the change the grille made, really give the front end a classier appearance.

I must be looking in the wrong places, this is all I found for the first gen, and looks much too bulky for my taste...

Plus I tried to contact this ebay seller and he did not provide any installation instructions. I see no brakets what so ever on this grill, does that mean I have to fabricate everything??? No Bueno looks like it will never fit right. It may look better on a fully kitted car but I am not going in that direction.
