if my HREs were 20" i would have kept them no doubt.

I have 18's - impulse buy - I too wish I had not been so conservative when I bought. I think 19's for me should have been the choice at a minimum. Here's mine on 18's.

how much did u lower your car? looks nice. Oh, did u have to change your shocks and struts when u had the car lowered?

You guys are missing out... I'm temporaly riding on 17's, and I'm hating every bit of it. Can't wait to put my 16's back on, the ride is so much more comfortable, and the car tracks so much better with 16's, I can't even begin to imagine how bad 18+ are.

I am about 1.8 to 2" all around - I used H&R's on OEM struts until they wore out and then replaced with Bilstein HD's.

Actually the 18's are not harsh to me - sure not as comfortable as OEM. I was going to buy 19's or 20's but since it is a daily driver I was conservative. Tires make a big difference - Toyo Proxes T1R is what I roll on and they are smooth and quiet. I hear you though - if you are not into the plus wheels then OEM is the way to go for comfort, etc.

Actually, I have the opposite effect. I love my 18's very much. Car handles alot better, tracks better, hugs the curves alot more, and doesnt seem quite as top heavy. Only offset to this is the lower profile in tire, but depending on where you live, even that can be compensated for. I run a 40 profile tireb/c I live in Baltimore city and the roads are not to good. I have taken some pretty hard hit with potholes and stuff and never once bent a rim. True, it is not OEM ride quality, but it is suited to me. 18's do take a little getting used to as far as the lower profile in tire size, but once you do so,, is all good.

I am right in line with Trukn1 on this.
I run 235/45/18's and am very happy except for
my tire lifespan which has plummeted!!

My exuberance is more than a little to blame for that , however.

Just to add that B4 I switched from Nitto's to Toyo's I got 30,000 miles on them - not bad at all for Z rated rubber - and a staggered setup.
