Help, where does this wire go?
Long story short, I finally have the car at my house after it sitting at my brothers for a few months. I've been cleaning up and realized we (my dad and I) left all the wiring disconnected to the air suspension ecu. I've hooked those back up but there is an extra connecter and I have no idea what it goes to or where it belongs! Everything is hooked up the ecu/cd changer/fuel pump regulator etc etc. Any help?
93 automatic (passenger side of the trunk)
***EDIT***
Now that I think about it, could that be a diagnostic plug?

Usually you can tell by looking at the connector if it's been used or not. It should be fairly obvious.
Next, the best way to tell where a harness goes is to pick it up in your hand, then just let it go. (drop it) It will naturally go right where it's been positioned for all those years. Doesn't go anywhere, or maybe it hangs straight down? The connector is only so long. That means there is a small circle of possibility where the connector can possibly reach, short of plugging into another sensor.
Another possibility, especially if the connector is "clean" or never used, cars often have unused connectors for options your car did not come with in the first place. However the harnesses are the same, thus the connector that is loose/never used. Just a possibility.

If you think about it, the diagnostic port will be somewhere out of the way, but still relatively accessible for the technician to reach, i.e. probably not in the trunk.

1991 here, but my diagnostic port looks much different and is under the dash, to the left of the steering wheel.

It must be just an extra plug, there is absolutely nothing to plug it into and the wire is too short to run anywhere out of view. I guess when it's up and running again I'll know what it's for (if anything).

If you have a factory phone in the car I think that extra plug is part of the Mute system for the stereo, when the phone is in use. From what I've read recently since I was working in the same part of my 98, the plug is there if you install a different phone system or something to that effect.
In a nut shell it just hangs there, there is another one underneath the phone too.
