Default auto-closure?

I have 2 1st Gen 400 and both I have to hold switch until it closes (2 steps, one closes 3/4 then repress and hold to close completely) Does the 1st gen have an auto close feature (Hit button once and it closes automatically or not?
Thanks

not in the US. we have a panic button instead. Euro/Japanese models have the auto close on hold feature. no, it isnt an easy thing to swap out as several computers and possibly the key transmitters would have to be swapped.

P.D. we are talking about moonroof controls, not keyfobs... i think exam week is getting to you

I believe the auto open and close was a 98+ feature.

Yes, give it a try and report back. Try to either open and hold and see if that opens and closes it. OR try opening it, then close and hold for a while.
