I need a replacement driver's seat for 1994 LS400. Have been searching for a while and found seats from several other model years. Will a 1995 LS400 driver's seat fit into the 1994 LS? Will any other years fit also?

I dont think they will fit without mods.

Is your seat problem due to structural damage, non-working motors or deteriorated leather?

The seat back twists to one side; the leather is worn and split on the seat bottom and the cushions are shot. Very uncomfortable to drive for long periods.

I addressed all of these issues when I had my new "LeatherSeats" power buy interior installed.

That is a whole new interior front & rear & the install shop addressed the seat from structure problems to adding new padding.

I paid $1000 all said & done so I certainly understand looking for just a single replacement seat.

My driv seat does the same damn thing, twist when you try to rock the back of the seat forward. Looking for a replacement seat to my car is a 1990!

I figured out what was wrong and did a fix with some mods. Seams to work fine. Word of warning to keep this from happening. Do not ever tilt your LS 400 seats all the way down. This is when the problem usally happens.

is there any way you could write a basic tutorial or is the fix too involved? I think alot of members are having this problem, you don't want to have to explain it word for word every time, would you?
