I took off my Celsior Badges and got all the pin holes filled up and the boot resprayed and put lexus and ls400 badges on it. The opersite of what you guys are doing haha. I dont know about in America but Owning a Lexus is considered very expensive while the same car with toyota badges would be mistaken for a cheap camry haha. Even tho my Celsior is far superior to the LS400.

I was thinking about doing "Lexus Celsior" But anyone who knows anything about these cars would laugh at me if they saw it. But anyone who doesnt know will think I have some rare Lexus. Also thinking of removing both Lexus and Ls400 badges and just have the Celsior badge on the left. What do you guys think?

Oh and $100 for celsior badges, you gotta be joking. Rip off. I see them pop up for sale here in Australia all the time for next to nothing. (approx $10) I will let you guys know next time I see a set.

Well in Australia you guys had the Celsior; we didn't have that here in the States, hence why the prices are higher here as the supply is limited. I payed $25 for mine, brand new, shipped, from a fellow CL member. They're $35ish on eBay.

Celsior is JDM only, We just have good importing laws (plus we are RHD) that allow us to bring over jap cars. But in saying that I have no doubt there is more Celsiors/Skylines on the road in australian then japan (drive around on a saturday night in the popular car scene areas and there are more skylines then anything, not bad for a country where only r32 gtr's were released, but now im getting off topic).

Didnt mean to offend by saying its to expensive, just letting you know they can be had for less, shipping a item that small to America would cost close to nothing.

Check yahoo japan aswell

here is one I just found with a 1min search.

http://page7.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g68132831

It works out to be roughly $20 australia dollars. Which is probley only $19 USD.

I agree. Stick with the LS4

Well, I guess I'm joining the party late. Ryan, I dunno if my car is the "white car floating around" you are talking about, but this thread summarizes the whole thing:

As far as the Toyota vs Lexus thing, opinions will vary as much as the personal taste of our cars and even (as we've seen) what country you reside in. There are no winners or losers. Personally, for me, I love the second (and third) looks from passers-by and the weekly questions, "Is that a special Toyota?" "Is that a new model Toyota?" or "It looks like a Lexus, but I don't understand...?" I really enjoy it... and thats why we're all in this game to begin with

Grass is always greener I suppose.
I live in the GCC and everyone cares about the "L" and not the "T" I own a used car parts and usually deal in Lexus but since most of them are JDM's, they come with the Toyota logo. If an OEM grille costs 300 with the "T" , the "L" version of it would go up to 600 easily.

Sometimes I think of selling my goodies in the US of A!
