Why are u worried? Its almost TOO easy to pass an inspection here if u know anyone

yup and if the welder makes good seams if you extend pipes there won't be leaks. The LS is real clean especially if regular service intervals are performed.

I hate surprises and like to check things out.

Passing will be no problem at this point.

is it possible to pass smog without the resonator or muffler??? im looking for a nice deep sound so my car can sound like a BEAST. i think ima do the deletes haha

Guys unless your LS is neglected from a service perspective it will pass all day long with a muffler delete. I need to find my emission numbers and post after I deleted "all" resonators. They guy said it was the cleanest car he had ever seen especially with mega miles on it.

A clean burning LS with stainless wide open mufflers that you can hear

how does it sound with mufflers and resonators removed? not too loud right? i dont want it to sound like a little ricer car

theres no such thing as a ricey v8 car...unless u have n1 mufflers from ebay....get rid of those mufflers and resonators and let the lexus roar.

Yeah mine with just the resonators removed with OEM mufflers sounded cool -a low pitch V8 growl. Even on the inside the sound was minimal.

When I removed all the resonators and added Magnaflow mufflers it got quite a bit louder even in the cabin - I like it though.
