Default Help! Modding a supra strut bar

okay, after reading about how the 93-98 Supra front strut bar can be modded to fit the LS400 (mine's '93), I have decided to get one. This question is for all those who have done it themselves or know how to do it.

1) What materials and tools do I need?
2) What's the procedure?

Thanks a bunch in advance! By the way, will i notice a difference if i use a generic one from ebay which costs $20 instead of the TRD strut bar that costs $200? Thanks again!

All you need is a few washers to give the bar just a bit more clearence t clear the engine.

Sorry for grave digging, but can't find much info on this. I have a 99 LS400 and was wondering if a mkiv supra front strut bar will fit my car without modification. pics and any info is welcome.

its in teh UCF2x FAQ. 98-00 will accept a mkiv turbo bar without mods. 89-97 will need the bar bent more or washers.

Get a multi piece bar and not the one piece, and if you are a SoCal guy just come over and I will help with install ( and I can bend it to fit ) .
