Default Tail lights LS 400 1 gen.

Hi, guys

I'm thinking of buying Red/Clear Tail Lights: 90-94 LS400 http://www.luxurymods.com/index.asp?...WPROD&ProdID=7 but since my LS is an european model, will these lights fit? Is there a difference from US models tail lights to european's?

Thanks

The euro models had shorter inner tails where the reverse lights are to accommodate the longer license plates.

You could still get the outer clears, looks like it will line up pretty good with the reverse lights.

Ok, thanks for the info. Sounds good, really want to have some newer looking tail lights. The ones I've looked at on Ebay doesn't ship to Europe

Same deal with Aussie Spec LS400's small reverse lights, Cant be swaped over due to lock position. Might be able to mod it somehow.

But having the stock outside lenses and aftermarket inside ones wont work well either was the red on both lenses are totaly differant. Stock is a far more deeper darker red.

Minor thread jack

PD - What are the physical differences betwen UCF20 (before mc) and UCF21 (after mc) tails? I found some tails I'm interested in but they state that they are for UCF20 before MC. Wondering if I will have any issues using them on my 21? All of my research leads me to believe the lights are identical, but I don't have both cars to compare.

first off the 20/21 designations do not define the generations, they define the "ultra lux" options.

so your UCF20 post-mc with the pre-me tails will not look right, the lines in the center of the tails won't line up properly between the inners and corners. this is because the mounting points and physical size of the inners are slightly different between pre/post mc cars.
