I just finished doing my exhaust. I made a turn down (no muffler) for the passenger side and removed my muffler and piped back to two carbon fiber tips. Sounds good.

^^^^ that would make the system unbalenced and would look really ghetto wouldnt it? got any pics.

Depending on why you want to change your system will be the answer to what you want to do with it.

Is it for looks?

is it for sound?

is it for performance?

Most people just want a slightly bigger tip and a bit of a growl. The muffler delete does work ok. But isnt really a pleasent note with the standard rear mufflers (sounds harsh and ugly). For a little bit more noise with a nice note over standard replace the rear mufflers with a straight thru design oval or cannon whatever you prefer the look of, (Id recomend stainless steel if you can afford to do so), Then if its still not enough, get the 2ndary mufflers replaced with pipe.

The system I have is twin stainless cats (original ones sounded rattley)

Standard pipes and centre muffler.

the 2ndary mufflers removed and replaced with pipe.

Rear mufflers replace with large hotdogs/cannons. what ever you want to call them (rather the look of oval type mufflers tho on this type of car)

Sounds beautiful, much like a LS1 with a sports exhaust with a X pipe (no clap clap sound like tradition twin systems) but on idle when the car is warmed up it is very quiet. But put your foot down and you can definetly hear it.

It's for looks. You can see what I did to my rear bumper and the reason for a turn-down.

Sorry but if UCF11 has fart cans... I think they look sexy as hell and that's EXACTLY what I want. Are they the same size as these UCF11... http://www.hottexhaust.com/detail.asp?product_id=14842 Thanks for the pix bro...
