Our '93 SC400 was flushed with similar (cant remember brand) non-toyota fluid, and has started slipping, and acting up every now and then. Especially in the summer.
As soon as I found out about this, switched back to T-IV and haven't had a problem since. Strongly suggest T-IV fluid.
