People, I have a set of aftermarket rotors WITHOUT the little phillips head set screw holes drilled into the rotor face (front LS400 1995-2000). The rotors work perfectly fine without them. Just make sure your wheel lugs are at their proper torque and your good to go.

i'm not saying on the LS cause i'm not sure, but i know many applications where a vehicle's rotor is held onto the hub by the lug nuts. Actually, the brake caliper also helps to hold it in place, but the primary force that holds the brake rotor on is the lugs. Oh, and this is on a 6,000 lbs. truck that i know this to be fact.
