Back to ryansc300lover question, squeaking in front and soft pedal. I have had similar symptoms on my 94 LS400. Found out that the brake caliper sliding pins were stuck causing the pad to only grab one side of the rotor. Got them working again, replaced pads and everything was fine.

That is interesting. Yesterday in the work garage, the brakes were squeaking again pretty bad (fronts only), since I have everything new in the rear. Lots of meat left in the pads. You might have a point there. Hmm ok will check it out.

Thanks!

I didn't end up changing anything in the front. Took the wheels off to check, there is about 75% pad left. All OEM.
