somewhat redundant with a turbo setup......

ITBs are commonly used in high-spec NA applications.

Yes, I know.

I wasn't commenting that they be used with a turbo setup lol...my mistake for not stating that...

What company makes ITB's for the 1UZ?

most itbs are custom. but im sure a aussie brand sells them since the 1uz is such a popular engine over there.

Turbo is nice but really complex. A supercharger is much simpler to pull off. You have a couple choices.
1. The traditional supercharger on top the engine (roots or twin screw)
2. A centrifugal mounted on the front of the engine

As far as power on stock internals there are documented cases of as much as 15lbs boost on stock internals, that being said I would stick around that 10lb mark for a reliable daily driver.

For 9-10lbs boost you should be able to get around 350RWHP which is a whole lot of fun. Or more conservative would be 6-7lbs boost which your stock fuel system will handle nicely and still get you a strong 300+RWHP.

My 2 cents.

There is a bolt on Roots kit from down under for a reasonable expenditure; if you think $8400 without shipping is reasonable.

You can put a single or twin turbo in the front of the engine with no problem. But you'll need to delete the OEM fan system and run the electric fan system to make room for the turbo. A single setup has less headache than a twin setup.

With 350 rwhp, you might expect 375 rwtq or more. That'll be a lof of fun for daily driving from blocks to blocks.
