Wink Can any1 give me some advise?

Has anyone tried the after market exhaust headers from TDI ?
If you have, what were your results?
I would really like to put a set of exhaust headers (TDI), a costom "true dual" ehaust ( 2.5"), a "X" pipe and a pair of "free flowing" "cats" on my 90 LS400. I'm also cosidering, the elimination of the resonators. I would also like to install a reprogrammed ECU, a modified intake, a port matched and polished Intake Manifold and possibly a new set of cam shafts
My ultimate goal is to achieve 300 net horsepower or better from my 90 LS400. Supercharging or turbocharging seems a bit impractical, as we all know, the LS400 has a relatively high compression ratio, 10.5:1 CR
Can anyone give me some advise?
Thanx

I am not familiar with the TDI headers. Do you have the web page. I will be happy to review. The C's headers are not worth the cost or effort http://www.cs-comrade.co.jp/celsior.html

The only other headers I have seen are from Australia and can be seen here:

I haven't seen any dyno reports for any of these products.

hi Jbrady, thanx for all of the info. Here is the link for the TDI headers, they also have a supercharger and a 5 litre engine that they sell. So, what do you think about a "true dual" exhaust system for the 1st gen. LS400 ?
