is there anyway to find out what the bracket looks like to make? I have a bad caliper on my 00 ls and need to change it and I dont know if i should just get the same to replace or change to the ls430 caliper if it isnt to hard to fab.

-thanks

look, it's not a simple procedure to make brackets, and not something that should be attempted by someone who doesnt normally work on cars AND machine parts.

buy a new 2LS caliper and move on.

besides, there's not that big a benefit to LS430 in terms of practical, everyday use.

unless you have access to billet aluminum and a cnc machine not to mention someone who can design a bracket to withstand the stress, i wouldn't recommend it.
theres not a big advantage to using the 430 caliper anyway over the 2 LS.

ok...thanks Puredrifter and 19psi...It was worth a try, the price for one caliper I can get a pair of ls430 caliper for the same price. Thats why i wanted to see if it could be done without modding to much...Thanks for the info guys
