This may be caused by the mysterious trunk wire harness issue.
It's been reported on the forums that sometimes the wire harness attached to your driver's side trunk hinge fails and causes a ground fault. Try unwrapping the wire loom to see if there are any broken or frayed wires in there grounding out. It's something easy to do while you are in a parking lot without a full set of tools.

Pull one of the coil wires out just enough to see if its getting spark, at the coil. Do not hold the wire just pull it out a little and have someone turn it over while you are looking at it. I do not think it would be the plug to just not start all at once. If you have spark, I would look at the fuel pump I hear they are notorious for just quitting. Good Luck

so it turns over and over, but will not fire?
That happend to me just last week on my 00' LS. While the girlfriend is cranking the car, smell the exhaust for raw gas.
I popped the trunk and looked at the wires running down the trunk hinge, driver's side. Had a little worn spot, so i wiggled them a bit and it started right up.
Give that a shot.

i couldn't tell in your first post if you were saying the lights and stuff worked but it wouldn't turn over, or it would turn over just would not fire?

it started after ten days of this nasty connection of wires see picture below...
after searching in google i found that bad ground wire may affect on starter job, so i had disconnected this nasty connections and taped end of each wire....so after three days my car was ok...it was starting again from first click...after that i again made my nasty connection as shown above ..and everything was ok tell after ten days again starting problem came back..so i had posted this thread to take ideas & opinions from members here in forums..
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...wires-how.html
but no one has told me that these things are related! untill i saw your post !
Today i got starter replacement with new one. Hope that everything will be ok!
