In all reality it is no worse than some of the god awful widebody VIP bodykits from Japan with the bulging rear panels, big rear wing and 3 foot long exhaust pipes.

Only difference is this guy spent $10 instead of $10,000 to make it look goofy.

Holy snooty patrol around here!

It may not be to everyones taste, but I often barf in my mouth when I see the retarded 20" chrome wheels a lot of people around here put on these cars.

The car looks like the oldest man car ever when its stock, so why not work on your old car to snazz it up? Learn some skills while you are at it, he said he got the frame pulled, thats dedication, its no worse then any other VIP mod out there, sheesh!

That being said the hood is a little questionable! get it back in good shape stock, boot around in it a bit.
Mod #1 some exhaust to enjoy the exquisite roar of the 1UZ, worry about the hood later!

right now i have straight pipes on it. its funny to me seeing peoples faces when they realize the roar is from my lexus. i dont know if you guys have heard your car without the resonators and mufflers but it sounds good. thats where i got the idea for a muscle its got a beefy v8 small but it has potential. you guys sound like a bunch of rich car snobs. wait till i get a few more things done. like my next project a homemade brush guard.....j/k. you could ask me questions and try to see what im trying to do here.

Well, I gotta hand it to you. You seem totally unscathed by all the negative comments being fired at you. Like water off a duck's back! Some lesser noobs would have cowered and slunk away with their tail between their legs after the first insult, but not you, boy! LOL
So, I've changed my mind. I say, Go for it, kid! Ya got ballz!

While the OP seems to be proud of his budget minded achievements, i have my doubts about the authenticity of the front emblem

any way you spin it buddy, the hood vent and the bumper are both ghetto rigged since you cant or don't want to pay for the proper repair/replacement of parts.

hood vents/scoops only work when you NEED them. ie-forced induction.

and OMG you have straight pipes?! REALLY!? if you have no mufflers or resonators or ANYTHING then its going to sound rasp as hell because the 1UZ isnt a SBC or SBF, its small bore long stroke not the other way around.

i'm all for everyone doing their cars to their own tastes but cutting corners for a budget build and just jury-rigging the car doesnt ring well with me
