Body works on my 98 LS. Any good body shop in So. Cal???
Hello all.
I am a newbie (just registered today).
My 98 LS was invovled in a small accident last weekend
it will need a new front bumper and repaiting job. I am located in Torrance (south of LA). Can you guys recommend some decent body shops located in So. California??
Thanks.

it will be my insurance that will cover the cost so price is not a matter.

thanks again.

Which insurance company is covering the body work?
Usually, the ones on their preferred list are not the ones to go to. Since they have agreements with those body shops to cut costs wherever possible.
Do you know whether your insurance company allows you to use Lexus OEM parts, or whether they require aftermarket/recycled parts when available?
One body shop that appears to work on a lot of high-end cars in southern California is Ron's Body Shop.
Or, you could go to a Lexus body shop, such as the one in Santa Monica. You can call Lexus of Santa Monica to get the info on the Lexus-specific body shop they own.

I took my car to longo's body shop, will be picking the car up tomorrow, so far, they are ahead of the schedule by 1 week, original estimate was 2 weeks. Very efficient, professional, but most importantly, it's the quality of their work, which I will judge when I pick up the car, and will keep you posted.
