I'm hoping to get Megans sometime this summer, so it's nice to read about other people's experiences...helps with the buying decision. Like LiCelsior, I too will be riding on 16" stockers.

For my sake, it appears a professional installation would be in order.

lol i just ordered megans, soo a buddy and i will be installing them as soon as they come in.. well, once the weather gets a bit warmer anyways.. anyone mind directing me to a link with a diy or anything that would be of help.. considering the rears are a pita apparently.. the fronts seem easy enough.. thanks a lot

nice work op.. it looks great, im guessing you painted the bottom portion of the LS black as well?

rears are really simple, you don't need to open the balljoints. unbolt the bottom, then use a jack to move the lower control arm up a bit, the whole thing will jolt and release from the shock, then unbolt the top mont, and push the bottom of the strut/spring assy. back and follow it with the top, then pull the whole thing out.

yeah the rears aren't that hard at all. if you need a little more clearance, use a long prybar to hold the upper control arm in teh down position. this will get you enough room to slide the strut assy out.

yea thats what the instructions say with the rear strut removal. place a jack on the rear axle carrier and then remove the lower bolt.

ok since the rear is a PITA to get out and put the megans in. does that mean its gona b a pain to adjust the dampening in the rear. they make dampener **** extensions is it worth buying?

buy dampener **** extensions.

otherwise you'll have to pull the rear seats every time you want to adjust.
