Update 9/28, interior mod.
So,
Lexkost(?) inspired me to complete a mod that I was gathering info on materials needed for months. I searched the net for Burlwood veneers to apply to the dash kit for my double din stereo. I found some but I was concerned about not being able to get a decent color match.
This past weekend I found a early model ES300 with that had a perfectly flat simulation burlwood panel that matched my LS. I popped it off and performed some cutting and shaving to fit the dash kit. Here's the end result.
Turned out pretty good but it amplifies the need to get a wood kit for the climate control.
