Guys, as long as you're able to locate yourselves a set of these seats, its really not a difficult DYI. Search your local junkyards for totalled LS430's, these seats are not in high demand at all. Like I said I got all seats + center console for $415 on ebay. The center console will not fit though... at all.

Can you give us detail of how you had to install the rear seats. Are they secured or just sitting in the back in your pictures? They look really great in there and man they totally change the look of the car. Keep up the great work and please keep us up to date on your progress. I will try this in a few months too. I have a shop and have access to all the tools on earth so I should be able to retrofit and make all the electrical work.

This is actually an excellent question, and you've helped me by asking this question.... lol.
I had to get rid of rear seat belts. I could make them work, but nobody ever used them, so i just got rid of them. Now the front seatbelts work great. And the way you helped me with the question.... I realized what two of the wires are for, they are for seatbelt buckle illumination!

You may need those rear seat belts. Take a look at this: http://www.nydmv.state.ny.us/broch/c-50.htm
