That rear package is more exciting when you dont have it. I rarely get to enjoy it in my car :S since i do the driving most of the time... i cant remember the last time i was able to sit in the back, and enjoy the view.
Need a quick favor from someone. I got the heater to work, so thats really great, but now I'm struggling to get the buckle light to light up. My drivers side buckle light works (on the old seat) whenever I open the drivers door, and turns itself off after about 30 seconds. The passenger buckle light doesnt work yet (on the new seat). To save me headache, can someone confirm if the buckle light is supposed to work when the drivers door opens or the passenger? Or either one?

I think there is a sensor in the seat (based on weight) that makes it light up. I don't think it turns on from opening the door. If you have a passenger that adds weight to the seat, it lights up. If nobody is sitting in the seat, it won't light up.

That might be the case in the newer cars, not in the 1st gen. My drivers side buckle lights up when I open the drivers door.
Got the drivers seat working. Moves in all directions, got seat belt tension reducers to works, just gotta run the heater switch to the drivers seat and finish mounting them, and i'll consider the job complete.
Here's what will not work.
1) Seat memory. Memory steering wheel and memory mirrors work, but I have not hooked up the memory on drivers seat.
2) Buckle lights. Coudlnt figure them out for the life of me.
3) Seatbelt warning light on dashboard. It stays off whether the belt is on or off, so I couldnt care about it.
Everything else works great, and I couldnt even begin to tell how comfy the drivers seat is.
they are leather in my camry...its actually a very nice car, it has a sun roof,a great sound system as well as an alarm that has different settings on it like valet and so forth...190,000 miles on it
