Hi Everyone
I have LS400 1999 with factory navigation sys but when i opend my trunk i could not found the BOX. If anyone can tell me where i can find it and if anyone have a picture from the it please upload it. Also, from where i can get new one for my car because i think someone remove it from my car befor i buy it.

Have you looked under the removable floor on the left side of the trunk? My 2000 LS400 doesn't have navigation but I think that is where the navigation ECU would be if it did have it. Otherwise look under the removable floor on the right side of the trunk -- that's where the telephone ECU is on the U.S. spec 98-00 LS400.

there is a box under the removable floor on the left side of the trunk but it's a black box nothing written on it and i'm afraid to play with it. i don't know what is it? but in the left said it's empty. Please help me

it's help me alot but can i update the maps on the hard disk by my self because i'm living in the middle east. Also, if you know how please tell me the way.

Was your 1999 LS400 made for the middle east market and does it use a hard drive or a CD drive. Toyota/Lexus used different navigation systems in the 1998-2000 LS400 in different world markets. My understanding is that navigation system for the U.K. and Europe used a CD drive instead of a hard drive like used in the U.S. I do not know what system was used in the middle east.

No my car is US made but i want to use the navigation sys because the new cars in the middle east now a days is coming with navigation sys.
