Just picked up my long-awaited LS400!
I have been through a few Lexus models (92 Blue 5-Speed SC300, 01 Black/Black/Black GS300) and finally picked up my long-awaited LS400. I have been wanting one since I had laid eyes on a JP'd out 97 for sale back in 2004. I was randomly browsing the vehicle classifieds, and found this one for a steal of a deal. Needles to say, she is all mine now, and I have already put a few bucks into her, as well as the rims off of my GS300.
So far the mod list is:
19" Wheels from my '01 GS300
8000k HID's
JIC SF1 Coilovers
+ some coming soon go-fast bits..
Pics (sorry for the quality of the images, they were all taken from my iPhone ):
Just need to find a manifold now!

Lexozz - Thanks man! I really love her. It is weird to say, but I do like this car more than I did my 01 GS300 in many ways. I do miss the push button shifting on the steering wheel.. those made driving through the canyons to the beach a bit more fun.
Pure - I have heard that about these motors. I plan on around 6-8psi... although leaning more towards the 6 range. I hear that headwork and some decent camshafts make really good power on these motors.. so I was thinking of building a mild motor on the side with some stronger rods and swapping that in once I get all of the bits fitted properly, and running like they should. Can you possibly point me in the right direction of where to find a manifold? I have found 2 companies that claim to offer the kit, and emailed them with no responses as of yet. I am beginning to think that they are no longer in business.
j - No, but it is the same blower! haha. I got it used off of someone on CL. It is in extremely good condition and was taken off of a car with only 9k miles on it. The original owner swapped it with a KB blower, and is making some serious HP apparently. That white stang belongs to a friend of mine, and he refused my many attempts to buy the one off of his car. haha.

I <3 the 95-97's. Been my favorite model for years.
Thanks again for the kind words. She is everything I wanted in an LS.
I'll be contacting you shortly PureDrifter. Thanks for your assistance.

Took a few more pics of my car last night, after I gave her a bath. I got my exhaust done temporarily, and replaced my mufflers with some high quality resonated tips. It actually sounds great imo, especially when compared to my stock leaky buzzing mufflers. Haha. I'll post some sound clips if anyone is interested.
Unfortunately, I can't drop the car any lower with the way the streets are in my area.

Haha thanks! I thought so too. The wheels aren't a big name brand, but they looked good on my GS, and they look (&fit) even better on the LS.
I got the car with the tint on there, and at first, I wasn't really a fan. Now that the car is lowered, they are starting to grow on me!
Thanks!! The resonated tips do give it a bit of a heavier sound. I am waiting on my friend with a decent video camera to get an exhaust clip put up here. As of now, it is really loud. A friend of mine said it sounds like a vette that mated with a G35. I disagree, but I am super **** when it comes to my exhausts. Once I get the clip up, I would really appreciate whatever feedback you guys have for me.
It is coiled on JIC SF1 Coilovers. It rides smooth, but unfortunately the streets in my area are completely horrible, and it makes some pretty nasty sounds from time to time. The kind that make you grit your teeth and go ouch! Haha.
