Default ADUS Strut rod bushings, questionable quality?

I just got a pair of ADUS front strut rod bushings and was unpleasantly surprised by the quality of the bushing, take a look at the mold...

Anyone else have this issue?

Thanks for the pic! Yours looks about the same as mine. I didn't think it would cause any issues, it was just disappointing for the price. I'm sorry to see that my set wasn't just a fluke.

Mine were the same. When I installed them in my 97 LS they were squeaky, noisy when I went over speed bumps in parking lots. But after 5-10K miles they seem to be quieting down.

This is off-topic but does anyone know correct orientation, or is it even an issue? Look at bicol-ini's pic, the chamfers on opposing ends of the cylinder are slightly different. Which end goes "in" towards the center of the car and which goes "out"? There weren't any instructions on my set. My mechanic had to call and figure it out.

the chamfer that is smaller is to facilitate inserting in the strut rod, now the steel sleeve has to be oriented so that the bolt will go thru, do a trial on the that bolt see where the sleeve end goes first

yeah...mine looked like that too. I think thats the nature of the product....I didnt get the squeeks and very happy with how they firmed up the front.

mybushings.com

they give you 10% of the first order so order the rear axle carrier and trailing arm bushings...your gonna need those.
