go get your oil changed, chances are they gotta move the raccoon aside to get to the oil drain.

I have a $1000 deductible, so I just decided to leave it as-is. It's not TOO noticeable, so I may just get some super-strong glue and push it back together.

no i'm being dead serious there really WAS a coon under my car!!

i checked on it earlier today and it was randomly gone..i dont know what happened to it..its not my first time i've seen this same coon either.

i think i may trap it next time i see it come by

In all seriousness, if you see a raccoon during the day, its probably been displaced from its home due to some nearby construction, or it could be rabid. They are nocturnal and typically aren't out and about during the day. The best thing to do is call your local animal control dept and let them take care of it. They are defiant and can be very aggressive if approached.
