changing injectors
Has anyone had any experience using aftermarket REMAN injectors. I found some listed for arround $50.00 from Auto Parts Warehouse. Everything else is OEM tune up parts. ALSO... If 1 injector is OEM and the others are REMAN will this create an unbalanced system?

I have 235000 mi on origional injectors and am getting classic signs of missing, loss of power and rough idle. Also have had a complete tune up and one injector replaced thinking this may hold off any additional injector problems. Not so lucky.

Seafoam
Gave Seafoam a try, hope for the best. Still had to replace #8 injector. Used Sea Foam in trans then flushed out w/good results.

Hopefully the newer injectors have the same flow rate as the stock ones. The pre 95 LS use 215 cc/min injectors. As long as they all have the same flow rate and impedence, then the car will be ok. Also, you can try using the fuel injector cleaner bottle (use a good one that's at least costs $10) and you'll see a little difference.
There might be other issues resulting in the loss of power even after a major tuning. The TB and the intake manifold might be very dirty with oil, carbon, and dirt. Cleaning them with Carb cleaner will help restoring the smooth air flow path and removing the carbon & oil build-ups that reduce a good combution. The car will run terrible during the procedure, but it'll improve as those gunks were removed.
