My digital camera is unavailable, my friend borrow it last week and haven't return and I couldn't get a hold of him, The hid conversion came out as one stright line with a good cut off line, it doesn't scatter anywhere. When it is first turn on it makes very bright blue but when it start to warm up (about 10-30 seconds), the color became more purple and when it is full warm up, the color turn to purple (with a little more white) It looks purple when looking at it from outside but when you are on the exterior and look out the front windshield the color is very bright (white light). Sorry that I couldn't get the real picture before tomorrow. But I hope you get the picture of what it will look like. I think you won't be disappoint with it. But make sure you get the kid with 5000-7000k because it is the closest to the sunlight color (the shop says it should be the brightest with 5000-7000k). 4200k is good too, it is what most cars xenon have (from the factory). But I would go for 5000-7000k. If you go over 7000k, you might lose some visibility as it is too bright above the sunlight.

Okay, i just had a lengthy conversation with the seller. He says that 100% of Philips HID retrofit kits are made in Germany...but packaged in Taiwan to cut costs. So basically, they're all from Taiwan. Anyone able to verify the truth to this?

Hey BHC, I'll just basically post what I PM'd you...

This about this guys, the kits are manufactured in Germany, then they SHIP them to Taiwan just to package then they SHIP them to the USA? Come on...they would just get the packaging to Germany and ship from Germany to the USA...to me, it sounds like the seller is selling you some BS!

I am working on getting ClubLexus members some REAL GERMAN HID kits that are COMPLETE and HIGH QUALITY...hopefully, I can get a good price break...I've seen some of those Taiwanese kits and they're not good quality....(not saying the kits in the group buy are bad, but I've seen many of the kits from Taiwan and they were not looking too good and most of them didn't include relays)

Hehe manaray, my turn to basically post what i PMed you Well, I met up with the guy today with my buddy reximus...got to check out his awesome accord coupe, decked out in everything. He was very helpful and honest...i guess i misunderstood what he said. He's getting it from a vendor in taiwan because he's already a importer with them...but the kits are still from germany. He showed me the one on his car and said he got it from that same vendor in taiwan. Showed me the ballasts and bulbs.

Well...i took the gamble, we shall see in 4 weeks hehe. He even offered for me to drop by his wherehouse when the kits come in so he can help me with the install if i need assitance, since he's already gonna help out 4 other cars. I know, it's slightly risky, but he was way helpful and cool to work with. hehe, he even gave me his business card for his retailing business opening soon. I'll let ya guys know how it turns out in a few weeks and if it's the real deal, maybe i can ask him for another group buy so u guys can get in on it.

haha retro... yes, i was getting the 4300K H4 Philips HID kit for $350. But today when i was talking to him, he gave me the option of getting that same kit, but with bi-xenon bulbs so i can have both Hi/Lo beams for an extra 30 smackaroos (in the original thread LINK to get the Hi/Lo on the H4 woulda costed $60 more). He and his girlfriend both said that if i had HID, the hi beam really isnt all that necessary...but i figured what the heck, might as well, so i spent a total of $380 for 4300K H4 Philips HID kit with Hi/Lo.
