Default Brakes shudder-98 LS400

When I apply my brakes at a speed of about 25-35, the brakes shudder as if the ABS is engaged. This did not happen until a garage changed out my bearings. Does someone know what's the problem with my car?

Have your rotors turned or replaced.

You guys think this could come from a misalignment from corrosion on the rotor hat relative to the hub or wheel?

It could be, I would take them off, have them turned and cleaned, brush the wheel hub surface to make sure and put em back on with new pads. THEN, go out and bed them in properly.

Default Shudder Brakes

I took my car in for brakes work because they slipped when applied and seemed like they traveled too far down. I was told it was not the brakes but the bearings. After the bearings were replaced it was when the brakes shudder and appears as ABS was enaged when I braked to a complete stop from 25-35 mph.

Assuming if it is a warped rotor or something wrong with the rotor, could this have been caused by the work on the bearings, especially when none of this problem existed prior to the changing of bearings?

Thanks

more then likely your abs sensor on the bearing, check and see if they forgot to plug it in. mine does it at 10 mph while brakeing, and the lexus mechanic I got it from said I need to get a front drivers side abs wheel sensor. I think the word shutter is what is throwing people off. That word makes me think of warped rotors.
