TRAC light stays on
Hi all,
I have read through most posts but could not find anything matching what I am seeing. I have 1991 LS400 and the TRAC light stays on. When I disconnected the battery it shuts off but comes back in few seconds. One time after battery disconnect I was able to turn it on / off but again did not last for too long. Where do I start in attempt to figure out what could the issue be? Please help!!!
Regards.

Ok, just had a chance to do that and does not seem like I am getting what one would expect. I followed the directions and when I turn the ignition switch to on the Trac light is off and never blinks whats so ever. O/D light blinks every .25 seconds.
I tried to press the Trac button on and off and the light comes on and off as it normaly should. Once I unplug the bridge from Te1 to E1, and start the car, the light comes on and does not shut off.
What could that mean?
Regards.

You followed this tutorial:?

The TRAC light on my 90 stayed on all the time, I just ignored it. But I never had to drive in snow as you may have to.

when my trac light came on, i found it was one of the wires leading to an abs sensor was cut a bit. pull the fender liners off and double check all the wires. you might have a loose connection or broken wire.
