this car is definately not worth any more than 3800 tops
the wheels are oxidized, front seats worn and ripped, bumpers look like they may have been replaced, i didnt like the feeling i got looking at the pics.

Yeah, I did. However, I wouldn't necessarily walk away from this one just yet, but I wouldn't pay more than the above stated. I mean obviously, it's a Lexus, it's going to have some resale value. That being said, you could probably find another LS4 that might not be as big of a pain in the a$$. I know you said a 98', but I bought a 92' with about 180k for $400, and was in decent condition, I now about an additional $1,700 into it. To be honest, it isn't terrible, it's actually not that bad, or as I thought it was. However if your not fond of searching your local salvage yards, eBay, and other used parts resources, I think your better off trying to find a more "complete" vehicle, otherwise this one could nickel and dime you, especially if the timing belt hasn't been replaced, and their asking that much.
