I am hearing a loud clunking noise coming from the driverside wheel as im driving. Strange thing is it don't seem to do it when car is cold. only when Ive driven it for a while. What could this be?

Probably suspension bushings, ball joints -- some part of the front suspension worn out.
I drove a gen 1 LS400 from new to 183,500 miles and I think I had every normally replaceable front suspension part replaced by the time the car got to 150,000 miles.
