Oi, I think I blew a fuse... but where?
Seriously, MY ac unit with the time clock ( 93 ls) and that panel has lost power along with my stereo. My volt meter shows nothing from the harness, but the fuses underneath the hood all look fine, am I missing something? Now I was trying to install a inline(ac) line filter for that horrible whine on my stereo when I accelerate, ARRRGGHH. So I installed the line filter- now the whine was worse.... Doesn't help that the idgits got 2/3 diagrams they have on the filter WRONG. So I reversed the filter not the +, - just switched the direction within
from battery~~~~~+~~|Filter |~~+~~|Stereo
from battery~~~~~-~~ |Filter|~~- ~~|Stereo
it 's just 3 rectifiers and two caps anyway so I figured it wouldn't run if was installed wrong and if a fuse did blow it'd be my stereo fuse. Stereo fuse is fine as is all the other fuse I can find... What did I do, help!
