if you dont know what you're doing you're more likely to screw the car up worse than it is....

Did you make sure that you deactivate your alarm and see if it will start? I was wondering if the kill switch was activated due to the alarm.

Taking the key and sticking it in the door and unlocking the car manually will normally deactivate the factory alarm. Clicking of the starter CAN sugest that it has gone bad, but start with the simple stuff first b4 you START to spend money on an expensive repair such as a starter. Also,, as others have suggested, if you are not mechanical, let someone who is handle the repairs. Doesn't seem like you have too much experience under the hood of a car. First thing,,unlock the doors with the key to deactivate the factory alarm,, second thing,, have the battery checked to make sure it is at proper voltage,,,, third thing,, check to make sure that all battery connections are tight, and tighten them yourself to be sure. All 3 of these steps just cost you a grand total of about $0. Lastly, tow the car to a mechanic and have them work on it. There is TOO much for you to screw up if you are not the slightest bit mechanically inclined.
