Hmm,, 13 year old car with only 30K on it seems to be a bit suspect. If it is as he says it is, the car is near mint however the price he is asking is a bit high.

What a car is worth to the person who wants it bad . . . whole different thing. I would blow every penny on that car if I was able to ascertain that the leather was perfect, the wood was perfect, the engine was perfect, the p/s pump dry, the trans shifting smoothly, the electrical system was perfect, the displays were all perfect, the steering quiet, the seats supportive, the CD changer functional, the carpeting perfect, the paint perfect, look right there. . . you could buy an average beater 120K miles for $5,000.00 and blow another $4,000.00 lickety split. . . AND the damn center bearing could start vibrating tomorrow for an additional $1,000.00. Original assembly, fresh as this, is worth the premium . . . after a thorough inspection.

30k miles, oil changed every 2500-3000 miles means that oil was in there an average of 1 year at a time!

Sometimes underdriven is not a good thing.

Example, I purchased my grandfather's pickup, a 1986 Mazda B2000 (purchased in 1996, when I turned 16.) It had something like 10k miles on it. The entire exhaust system was clogged to hell because it never warmed up past 1/2way to operating temp. Once I fixed that, the carb was destroyed by the same issues, varnish in this case. Fixed that, and the clutch was killed by something having to do with sitting for eons.

Not saying this car isn't great, I'm just saying that low miles, especially extremely low miles, isn't a measure of the car's greatness.
