The vibration does still exist when the car is in neutral while driving (did this on the highway) and while at a stop which are two different issues I would assume.
Because when reving in park the engine is perfectly smooth. Vibrations occur while in gear and at a stop but as soon as I give it a little gas it becomes smooth again. When in neutral and moving I don't think it would be the motor mounts since neutral at a stop is perfectly smooth.
I don't know, any time the engine/drivetrain position is shifted, it can cause vibrations. I would start with the tranny mount. Apparently it is really easy to change.
