Traction Control Light

Traction Control Light
1994 LS400. Trac Light comes on periodically after driving, thus no trac control. Goes off after restarting car and occasionally returns (not every day). Been diagnosed as trac control module that is overheating, $1500 fix. Anyone else experience this? can the module be fixed, or used one relaible replacement. Also I have bought Bosch triple paltinum plugs for replacement, any good? Still haven't installed them.

I had this issue and it morphed into it always being on now and the traction control does not work at all now. I guess I just don't worry about it because I like having full control of the vehicle. But I would love to know why it does this. Also the best spark plugs you can get are iridium. Far superior to platinum. You can find some here:

Traction Control Light code 43
94 LS400 Same problem. The TRAC code is 43, I cleared the code, go for road test, the code reappear, the code 43 is not listed in the TRAC OBDI Diagnostic Codes List, What is the code meaning?
How do you know the traction control does work or not in the car? thanks.

Haven't got any serious electronicaly issues with my car, I'm very happy with that.
I'm running Nology Silver spark plugs. They don't last as long as Iridium's or Platinum's. But they have a better spark

A long shot, but it could be the nitrogen canister:

You probably need TRAC in Colorado, but here in AZ, I don't need it and when it came on all the time on my 90, I just ignored it.
Here's a couple threads mentioning code 43:

I wish I could help more.

Odd but true
I have a 92 LS400 that we have had since 1993. Best car I have ever owned...including BMW and MB.
Our LS had same symptom you describe...periodic lighting of traction control warning, but no failure of actual traction control function.
Well, last summer I noted that my brake fluid level was going down every few days, even after I would top it off. Had recently had pads replaced and thought cause of leak was loose bleed valve. Wrong. Real cause was that brake line running to rear wheels had corroded hrough and was losing brake fluid. We live in salt-using Michigan. Had line replaced with coated line ($500).
Now here is the kicker. Ever since the brake line was replaced, the traction control light has not lit except when the traction control is actually working. No more false warnings. I think the light was going off because of a very slight leak in the brake lines. Just a guess, but there it is.
