try alignment and see what happen. If you go at over 60mph and the car is not as stable as should be, and if you notice the shift nope moving up and down then you need an alignment definately.

wobbling sounds like a bad shock issue.

sounds to me like your shocks are blown. Usually when you have blown shocks when you go over a bump your car will bounce up and down pretty roughly because there is no more pressure in the shocks to keep it stable.

don't use lexus, just go and get some bilsteins or something. WIll prolly cost you less than LEXUS and will last longer.

I dunno about price, here's just a GUESS (off top of my head) I'm thinking prolly around $400 for some nice Bilsteins. Just take a look online and see what you can find. Also try the Classified forum and maybe post a thread in the LS400 Classified stating that you are looking for some shocks for your car.

after market shocks are better in performance but you'll loose that soft lexus ride. i tried after market shocks and springs but i ended up going back to stock. good luck

Bilstein are a little stiffer then Tokico shocks from what I heard.
Tokico is what I have with 1" Eibach springs and the ride quality didn't change much at all.
