Default Suspenstion

Hello i own a 93 lexus ls 400, the car has quite a few miles on it and is damaged, i really wasnt to fix it cause its a sweet care but i think i need some advice. First off i have to fix the lower front ball joint and i lost the castle nut that fixes the ball joint to the tie rod end and i need to know the part number or even what nut might fit on there, also when i did the job there is a loud growning from that side of the car when it rolls, not sure what it is.

Also i was wondering if height control sensors are a must on mycar cause of the height control system or is there a way to bypass this, i was told i need a new driver side height control sensor and there so expensive, please help i need to get my car running.

Your air suspension would not work correct (or not work at all) without the height control sensor, so you have to change it. Have you tried to see if any junk yard sells them?

The left front height sensor cost $360.26 from OEM Lexus part (http://www.oemlexusparts.com/seccat/...0009/19/20009/)
A conversion kit cost $649.00 from Arnott (http://www.arnottindustries.com/part...65_gid249.html). It's your choice. If the air suspension works good and it's only the sensor that is bad I would just change the sensor.
