Default LS400 Smoke ??

Have a very clean 1998 LS400 I bought that was a one owner a couple weeks ago, when I take off fast in it after I've been driving it around town for awhile I notice smoke of some sort comming out the exhuast. Not sure what this could be, has anyone else expericenced this. Any feed back would be appreciated.

Thanks

It only has 89K on it, color seems to be almost white, has a slight hesitation when I first floor it, not sure if that's normal.

Thanks for replying

It doesn't sound serious. I'd start by adding some fuel injector cleaner to your gas at your next fill up. Chevron Techron is a good one. Make sure your using a good quality premium fuel. I prefer Shell 93 octane.

Whats the common level of the power steering fluid? Notice it low at all? Had to fill it?

There can be a problem with the idle control valve (ICV) on the power steering pump that can allow power steering fluid to get into the engine and cause smoke at start-up. Since you're noticing white smoke when the engine is warm / after you've been driving it for awhile, I doubt this is your problem.

did that fix it? i think personally think its just water in the exhaust... do you drive it often? is the coolant level low?

Meant to say glad to have found this site, coolant level is ok, seems to have alot of condensation that comes out from the AC, more than other cars I've had hope this is normal, I run my "auto" temp even in this cool weather.
