Made the mistake of getting the wrong color... fogs are now french yellow which i wouldnt mind but made the mistake of painting the side fog corners yellow too. Would painting them orange over the yellow come out weird? OR direct me to a place to buy some cheap vinyls.
Actually will this work? How do you apply it? Is it with a heat gun?

There is probably a post about removing it out there. I'd do a Google for that.
This is the MSDS of the glass paint.

You can try naphtha, mineral spirits or acetone. Acetone will soften the acrylic so you are pretty much screwed there. Once it penetrates, the acrylic will be forever soft. Naphtha may do similar...just one of the two will be faster to cause it. I haven't tried mineral spirits on acrylic so IDK. Basically, the lens is screwed.
Just a note: all the above solvents are hazardous to your health via contact or inhalation. Wear a chemical protective glove (ie. nitrile) and use in a well ventilated area. Latex gloves will dissolve on contact.
On glass, no big deal, it can be scraped or chemically removed without damaging the original surface. Plastic/acrylic...one shot deal. Hence the translucent colored vinyl. I hope it can be removed but my past experience with stain glass paint is

Well, I dont mind the yellow fogs but the corner peices i could replace if it went wrong. Thats IF i could find them seperately from the fogs. OR if amber paint will cover it with out changing to a wierd color that would work.

Amber paint over the yellow should be fine, the orange is darker so it SHOULD cover fine, just wet sand the yellow with 2000 grit first. I had mine made at a automotive paint shop. You just pick what ever color shade you want and they add 50% clear coat to the can which turns it translucent. You can do this with what ever color you desire
