Sure did. The shop had already driven it when I picked it up, but I still took it out and did the bed-in procedures I've read about on here and mbworld, so I should be good to go.

And for those wondering why I didn't DYI (as had been suggested in my thread about this multiple times), it's because a friend and I tried it but the two screws holding the rotor in place were pretty much rusted in place, and trying to unscrew them just stripped them out (on the left side). Needless to say, we didn't bother trying the right side.

So are the brembo blanke better than the r1 blanks is there another blank I should be looking at? Quality, warping, mileage before I need new ones? I will most likely get the axxis pads that have been recomended.

If you want OEM or OEM-like performance I would go with the Advics(Aisin/Sumitomo), PBR Deluxe, or Akebono. The Advics will the same pad as Toyota-boxed ones.

FWIW, I'm running Bradi blanks and PBR Deluxe NAO pads. The rotors look great, very little scoring on them. I got a set of PBR Metal Masters in the garage for the next brake job.

For those rotor screws, a little trick a mechanic showed me is to use a center punch on the head and strike it like a drift.

Decided to try the ATE 612 pads on the front of my 94LS. I also use Bradi rotors F&R.
