Feedback on new Tires (Turanzas)
I have just under 500 miles on my new Bridgestone Turanza LS-Hs (235/60/16).
I can with all confidence state that these tires are a great match for the LS400. Despite the fact that they're only H-rated (130mph) they are based on the newest technology and have excellent wet and dry traction.
They're quiet, smooth, yet still handle very well at speed considering the overall size and heft of the car. I've only had the car up to approx 115mph so far with the new tires, but they're as smooth as glass.
The Price was $550 bought and installed locally. I also ditched my '97 Coach Wheels and went with '99 LS wheels, same wheel design, but the '99s are machined aluminum w/ clearcoat vs. painted silver.
I'm glad I'm all set with new tires and wheels as I'm moving from Tampa back to Northern California in about a month---there's lots of freeways there compared to Tampa.
Regards and thanks everyone for all the excellent advice.
