Default alignment adjuster options... interchangeable parts?!?!

So i was checking my steering & suspension on my 91 ls400 and i noticed i had play from the left rear from an arm with a boot (looks like a tie rod boot) which the dealer calls a lower control arm and they hooked me up with some part numbers (with air susp left 48720-50010 right 48710-50020 and without air left 48710-50020 right 48710-50020)... the question that i have is i converted my air suspension to coils so do i use the application for air or without... and looking at these arms they look pretty similar to the toe adjusting arms for other lexus models (gs or is series) so i am wondering if i can align my car a little better than with the factory cam bolt & wedge setup if i was to buy an arm off of ebay or something for a different model, has anyone else swapped these parts out or tried to use the toe arms off a different model as a replacement? i really need to change mine out so if i can i would rather throw on the adjusting arm, thanks fellahs!!!
