95 LS: (I have searched) Questions about HID kits

to a degree you can make it better, but the only way to really eliminate most of it is to retro with a clear lens. the diffusive glass lens kind of has a life mission to, well, diffuse light.

But honestly though.. I really like my friend's 6000k kit, it's the perfect color temperature imho. I'm guessing it varies from hid kit to hid kit.. also, my main dilemma right now is getting my headlights to stop blinking once the car has been locked, any ideas on how to get around this ?

Go to RetroSolutions
I purchased a couple of their kits for my other cars (my LS already has HID). Lieftime warranty, great quality, perfect outcome. No glare, highly recommended.

HID will be a huge improvement from halogen. You can't complete get rid of glare. what i did was aim them slightly lower and it seems to be fine. I have ddm's raptor kit 4500k and it is so damn bright! imho, ddm is great. pricing is hard to beat and their lifetime warranty. I've bought 4 kits from them already and none of them has been defective. Its just a peace of mind when you know you can get a replacement for free for lifetime.

I have a 95 LS4 with the DDM Tuning HID's. 6000k is perfect, not too blue at all, anything over 6000k is just losing usable light output. The DDM tuning bulbs come with a glare shield, cuts down on glare a LOT. For $40 shipped you cant really go wrong, I've had them for a few months now and they seem to work fine.
My LS only flashes the low beams if I arm it twice (So if I press the arm button once to lock it, the lights dont flash. But if I arm the car, and then arm it again after that, the lights flash twice.) Maybe it depends on what you have your headlight switch set to? I know usually people leave the switch on AUTO. I have mine switched to ON, so essentially I have them on as daytime running lights, since SoCal drivers are all idiots and cant see a giant black sedan barreling down the highway.
With the built in glare guards, I've never had any on coming traffic flash their high beams at me. When I had the ones with no shield though, it was highbeamfest every night
