New to Lexus!! from SD
So Im new to Lexus' but not new to cars... I know the ins and outs of most cars, I first owned a Jeep Cherokee that I dubbed out, then an Integra I built up from scratch to a completel clean ITR replica, and now hopped on to Lexus keeping it jap and classy. You cant ever go wrong with Japanese cars so I decided to stick with but missed the look of big wheels and luxury. I just recently bought and extremely clean silver 1992 LS400 and I have fallen in love with the car. I already ordered Tanabe lowering springs, and the dash kit to install my tv headunit. I already have my 2 12's type e alpines subs and speakers awaiting installation... after all that is done rims will come in. Thinking 19" vip style wheels but I dont want to break the bank too much. Im thinking of spending around 1,500-1,800 maybe... any suggestions? But I joined this forum to get ideas and inspiration to fix up yet another car from the ground up.

Welcome to CL DJ, in San Diego as well. Personally i would get Maya RT5 if I was getting aftermarket wheels edging on VIP but to me a bit nicer. The Work Euroline 5 spoke looks nice also check out the AME Shallen those are very nice looking wheels.

PK I'm in Scripps Ranch not sure where djsurfer is at, I'm getting my LS shipped from Texas and should be here between Saturday-Monday. Once I get my GS450h wheels put on and the drop(springs or coilovers) I'm down for a cruise on up to the Westminster meet definitely should get a group to drive up

PK I might have to take you up on that I have all the stuff at my house it's just I don't work on these things I'll be going even further through it this weekend though. I was a big domestic guy for years so the import thing threw me for a loop but I'm king of getting the hang of it.

Updates, so as promised, Id do the at least the TV/stereo install because all i had was radio because the stock cd changer was broken and the tape player was stuck, so this tv touchscreen ive been using on my last 2 cars will do perfect for this along with the moster iPod adapter I put on it.
I wanted to run the Ipod adapter to the inside of the center console but I could not figure out how to take it out, can someone please explain how because I removed the bolts and theres no taking it off, maybe im missing some other ones but none other were visible...
