hmm, ok, I'll put a stethescope on it when I get it opened up and listen. I have the maint manual pulled up but I don't see an access port to inject cleaner to the system so I'll look closer when I get into it..

If funds are avail. it's a canister with a banjo bolt with a schrader valve on it(fuel injection service kit) which allows the cleaning agent to get to work in the injector. You TYPICAL don't see them on japanese vehicles, I'm come across a few. While your at it check your fuel pressure too.

Ah, I gotcha. Well there is a banjo bolt on the delivery side I can take off to attach the kit to, according to the pic so I know where to go if it comes to that..
I gonna resist overthinking this and just fill it up and take it on a 60 mile trip down the interstate before I start ripping and tearing..I'll post the results today..

On the roadtest it comes up as intermittent. It had a miss at all speeds up to the 30 mile mark, then cleared up and smooth as silk. It came back missing at about the 40 mile mark and stayed that way to 45 miles and thats when I parked it..I'll start looking at the MAF next..
