Default Cheap Billet grill alternative

for those of you interested in an alternative to the $600 billet grill from japan there is a seller on ebay offering something similar. At first i was disapointed in the product itself, as it consisted of plastic chrome with automotive 2 sided tape, but the results were pleasing as i only payed $20 i think it was $35 shipped and only took about 20 minutes to put on, and looks pretty damn good. If you think about it though its the same material that manufacturers make their chrome logos out of and those seem to last pretty long. And yes, im aware of the bumper paint chipping.

grill looks good. as for the paint chips i wouldn't as concerned about that as i would be about your front tire being mounted backwards

yea washers work, everything works on the car. My dad does paint as a hobby so were doing the bumpers. lol at the wheels, i installed them when it was dark ill have to look into that, oh well its been raining alot for the past month and we have been breaking records, havent had too many issues except for the car vibrating due a wheel balance issue ( at least i think).

Nice. I've tried them before on my grills and didn't like it. Sure it looks good from a distance, but close up, it's real tacky. Took them off right after I carefully put them on. Nice car, and I like those headlight washers.

Lol I put them on myself in the dark and I've been really busy lately, just graduated and working 45 hour weeks. As for the headlight washers I rarely use them since I wash and quick wax the car weekly, except for spraying people that walk in front of the car

Here is the grille in my 99LS.
I bought it here: http://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/pts/1846949332.html
it is one piece, like the original, bolts in.
this one is called "black chrome"
looking at it straight on, looks original, but as you walk up and look down, you see the chrome. neat. they also had them for the 95-97 models.

Yea the 98-00 is my current dream car, hopefully in the next five years. I have the 92, is the grill the same for the 95?

not a huge fan of plastic "billet" grills or slat kits. can still spot them a mile away and 99% of the time they look cheap.
