I'm not sure if the knock-sensor issue applies the same for 1LS and 2LS, but usually the issue is due to bad knock sensors. The wiring is generally fine (as long as you dont pull on it roughly). Replace BOTH sensors while you're doing the work and make sure they're plugged in correctly. After that, reset the ECU and your CEL should'nt appear anymore.
Goodluck!

just took the car to the local shop for a second opinion, and they found out the wire got eaten by a mice/rat
still very hard to get to those wires though I think I'm gonna have to pay the local shop $250 lavor plus parts... I guess is not too bad.
unless I do the work but i,m not a mecanic

If it's just the wires that are worn/disconnected and NOT the actual connector, then you can have them remove the intake manifold to get access to the knock sensors. After that, they can re-wire the existing cables to the connector and reset the ECU.
Labor can vary but its easily a 3-4 hour job to remove and re-install. I paid about the same at my local shop (labor only) to have the work done. Goodluck!

wow!!!!! I ordered the knock sensor wire harness for $106 from the local lexus dealer
now I recieved a call to let me know it was not $106 any more but $203
is only a few cables, why can it be so expensive, has anyone purchase these cables before for the same price avobe mentioned?

Before you actually take the dive on purchasing the so-called harness/wiring, i would consider getting a second opinion from a competent+experienced mechanic. As for good prices on oem parts, contact Sewell Lexus or Carson Toyota. Make sure to let them know you're a member of Club Lexus for a suitable discount.
